Introduction

Welcome Is Mellus – Import from Sardinia. These are the terms and conditions governing your access to and use of the website www.ismellus.com. By accepting these terms and conditions (including the linked information here in), and by using the Site, you represent that you agree to comply with these terms and conditions with Is Mellus FZE in relation to your use of the Site (the “User Agreement”). This User Agreement is effective upon acceptance. If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement please do not access, register with or use this Site. Before you may become or continue as a member of the Site, you must read, agree with and accept this User Agreement and Is Mellus’ Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”). You should read this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy and access and read all further linked information referred to in this User Agreement, as such information contains further terms and conditions that apply to you as a user of Is Mellus. Such linked information including but not limited to the Privacy Policy is hereby incorporated by reference into this User Agreement. Any changes we make will be deemed to have come into effect on the date that they have been posted on the website. You are responsible for reading the terms and conditions. When you place an order with Is Mellus – Import from Sardinia you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

Online shopping

Become a member on the site In order for us to deliver to you, you will need to become a member of the Is Mellus website. All your details will be treated with the utmost privacy and security. Security is very important to us. We will require your delivery address, your contact and payment details. We will then give you an account number and ask you to set a password for your account. Please make sure your details are kept somewhere you can remember as this will help us to locate your account if you call or email us. Once your account has been set up, you’ll be able to view your order summary again in your ‘shopping cart’ page.

Online orders

All orders submitted through our www.ismellus.com website are confirmed by e-mail. No order should be deemed to be accepted without this confirmation. All orders are fulfilled subject to these terms and conditions. It might not be possible for us to accept orders for delivery to certain areas; in this case collection must be made from our stores or from a pre-arranged pick-up point.

All orders are subject to availability. Should any of the items be out of stock at the time of placing your order, you will be notified via email and we will suggest an alternative if possible. Alternatively you will be offered a refund for this item (see refunds and returns).

Delivery

Normal delivery times are 9am – 6pm Saturday to Thursday excluding holidays. The day of delivery will depend on where you live. We have different delivery days for different.

• DUBAI: Delivery is free for orders above Dhs100. For orders below Dhs100 we charge a Dhs50 delivery fee. We deliver to specific areas on pre-defined days. Your order must be placed before 5pm one day before the delivery day in order for us to be able to deliver.

• Other Emirates (ABU DHABI, Sharjah, Umm al Quwain, Ras Al Khaiman, Ajman, Fujeirah): Delivery is free for orders above Dhs400. For orders below Dhs400 we charge a Dhs50 delivery fee. We deliver to specific areas on pre-defined days. Your order must be placed before 5pm two days before the delivery day in order for us to be able to deliver.

Payments and refunds

• Payment by cash

If you are not at home, payment must be left in a secure place for the driver to collect, or with a designated person.  Payment will still be requested if you are not available to collect your order.

Prices quoted are in UAE Dirhams and all payments are to be made in UAE Dirhams.

 

Refunds, returns and stock availability

Non-perishable items can be returned in an Is Mellus - Import froom Sardinia shop within one week (with receipt). We cannot offer refunds for fresh produce. Perishables food can’t be returned. At Is Mellus - Import froom Sardinia we will work hard to only deliver the freshest and best products, and to keep the items on the website up to date. Due to the nature of Organic and handmade foods, and the fact that we work with small family suppliers, some items may no longer be available between the time of order and the time of delivery.

Should a product no longer be available between the time of placing your order and the time of delivery, we will contact you by email to offer alternatives. Should you not wish to receive an alternative we will amend the order, and your receipt, prior to delivery.

Vouchers

Please register on the website to use the vouchers. Online vouchers are valid only for the duration speficified on the campaign, for new customers only, and only for one purchase. Vouchers can be used only online. The discount applies to online purchases, exclusive of delivery charge if applicable. A delivery charge of 50dhs applies for orders below 200dhs in Dubai or other Emirates (see delivery condition). Vouchers are not applicable for customers in Oman.
