For about 4 centuries, on the Island, people lived this period with intense dedication.

This festival is celebrated with a solemn procession, 65 kilometers long, which is part of The UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Flowers with different shades and their scent are combined with the launeddas’ sound (this is a typical instrument of Sardinia) to accompany the procession, lived intensely by everyone.
On the days of celebration, people live the traditions’ passion: customs, traditional dresses, Sardinian jewels, typical food, which on this occasion has a really special taste.
